Alexa computes traffic rankings by analyzing website usage. The measured traffic to a website is drawn from the data provided to Alexa from tracking software embedded in the Alexa toolbar. Alexa traffic rank,is the popularity rank of a given website among all websites found on the Internet. The traffic rank is typically based on three months of aggregated historical traffic data,which is a combined measure of page views,Alexa reach and Alexa links in. The lower the Alexa ranking number the more heavily visited a given website is. Alexa reach,measures the number of users that are able to reach a given website and is expressed as the percentage of all Internet users. Alexa links in,measures the number of other websites that link into a given website.
